Arnold & Janet Harrell
Apostle Arnold and Prophetess Janet Harrell are a spiritual powerhouse leading Covenant Church in Portsmouth, VA.
Since 2002, they have been a beacon of hope and guidance for their community. Arnold, who attended the Philadelphia College of Bible and Virginia Wesleyan College, is celebrated for his apostolic wisdom and nurturing mentorship.
His groundbreaking ministry, "Elevated," established in 2022, reshapes spiritual leadership across nations.
Prophetess Jan, a dedicated theology student with a certificate from Regent University and an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies from Transformation Bible Institute, is a formidable force in spiritual education and warfare. In 2019, she was moved by the Holy Spirit to found JHarrell Ministries, an avenue for individuals to deepen their faith and character. The "757 Prayer Hub" and her 21-day devotional book, "Change Your Words and You Will Change Your Life," testify to her commitment to growth and empowerment.
In November of 2023, Prophetess Jan introduced "A Time of Refreshing," a divine initiative inspired by the Holy Ghost. Their union, since 1997, exemplifies faithfulness and dedication, fostering a spiritually prosperous environment that continuously seeks to elevate and liberate God's people.
Arnold and Jan's ministry embodies passion, education, and action, one prayer at a time, paving the way for transformative experiences and uplifting lives through their prophetic and apostolic callings.

Our Pastor & Elder
Jonathan & Sharita James
Pastor Jonathan and Elder Sharita James are a dynamic, powerful duo in the body of Christ.
A native of Chesapeake, Virginia, and the son of Ervin and Lydia James, Pastor Jonathan was licensed as a minister under the leadership of the late Bishop I. Joseph Williams at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Norfolk, Virginia. After the passing of his pastor in 2002, Pastor James was subsequently led by the Holy Spirit to Go Ye Church of Deliverance in Chesapeake, Virginia, where he served under the leadership of Apostle Barbara Williams. There, he walked closely alongside his leader, cultivating spiritual discipline and deepening his growth in ministry.
Pastor James brings both spiritual depth and academic excellence to his calling. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Norfolk State University, a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Walden University. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology from Liberty University, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to scholarship and service.
Beyond ministry, Pastor James & Elder Sharita are devoted parents of four sons: Josiah, Joseph, Jeremiah, and Jacob.
